Abstract

The author explains how it was developed in Colombia, by tradition and respect, a matriarchal society, which was gradually influenced by male preeminence through what became known as the Salic Law, discrimination coming to occur against the women, which has led to the issuance of new provisions in defense of their equity and prominence.
